Carlisle Studios is a decorative painting studio that specializes in liturgical painting and hand painted backdrops. We also do, on a more limited basis, commercial and residential decorative painting.

Our range of finishes involves a number of highly refined painted and plastering techniques, including marbleizing, glazing, gilding, tromp'oleil, stenciling, graining and a variety of plaster techniques including venetian plaster.

Carlisle Studios was started in 1993 by Eric Carlisle and has developed a reputation for exacting reproduction of existing traditional themes, as well as unique contemporary finishes. Our muralists and painters are top notch and will create or recreate whatever is called for.

Our liturgical painting has been featured in many publications. Our commercial and residential work has been featured on Hometime and Home and Garden Network television shoes; in magazines - Midwest Living and National Kitchen and Bath; in a number of local publications; in ASID Showcase Houses and a number of showrooms.
